Bookclubs, reviews & interviews!

I got together with the FYI Book Club, a joint venture between The Kansas City Star and Kansas City Public Library, which proved to be an interesting discussion. Write up here, by the lovely Kaite Stover of KCPL. November also brought a review of ATUAWT from the LA Review of Books, and an interview with me by Adriana Delgado at BlogCritics. Last but not least, All the Ugly and Wonderful Things made it to the final round of the Goodreads Choice Awards for Best Fiction. (I've had a good run, but I'm predicting a win for Emma Cline's The Girls.)

More bonus scenes!
Many thanks to everyone who wrote and posted reviews in November, and who voted for All the Ugly and Wonderful Things  on Goodreads. This month's bonus scene is a big one, and relates to what I blogged about today: the families we make. It's for those of you wondered just how smoothly things went for Wavy's little family after Christmas dinner. As always, previous bonus scenes are still available: Wavy's early life, Donal 2, Wavy & Kellen's reunion and Donal 1.
