April 1-2, 2017 Victorian Heritage Festival -- This year’s theme: "Victorian Dreams." From roots as traditional as tea and shortbread to the high-flying speculation of Jules Verne, we will be celebrating all that was best in the hearts and minds of this time in history. For one weekend, among the grand old buildings and croquet lawns, the 1890’s will live again! Organized by Olympic Peninsula Steam and produced by Swashbuckle Industries.

Opening Day of the 25th Anniversary Season of the Port Townsend Saturday Farmers Market will take place on April 1 from 9 am to 2 pm on Tyler Street. Join them at 9 am for the opening ceremony with a red ribbon cutting hosted by the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and led by Port Townsend Mayor, Deborah Stinson. You are invited to come in animal or farm-themed costume to join the goat parade following the ribbon cutting, costumes are not required (but it is April Fools’ Day so you might as well).
