NEWS AROUND THE BLOCK

Congratulations to the nominees and winners of the Jefferson County Chamber's Citizen, Business and Young Professional of the Year for 2015!  It's the people in this community that make it wonderful! Marianne Walters was named the Port Townsend Citizen of the Year. Rocky Friedman, owner of the Rose Theatre and the Starlight Room, was named the Business Leader of the Year. And Dominic Svornich of Cellar Door and Kitsap Bank was named the Young Professional of the Year. Congratulations!

SPONSORS ON THE DOCK!

Do you remember what a great summer we had last year and how fantastic the Concerts on the Dock series was? Well, we have a fabulous line-up for this summer, thanks to Dominic Svornich, our music programmer. These community concerts are made possible by generous businesses. If you are interested in sponsoring this year, please call the Main Street office at 385-7911 for details. Thank you!

Gordon Pipe Band Needs Your Help! The Gordon Pipe Band would like to play at the 80th Annual Rhododendron Festival in Port Townsend. They have played at the Rhody festival for many years but need your support this year. As a popular stop for many folks that enjoy the festivities, they are reaching out to you to ask for a donation to help pay the way. The Gordon Pipe Band would be happy to perform at your establishment sometime during the parade day, May 21. They love to give their supporters an entertaining and robust performance with pipes and drumming. They will need refreshment and appetizers along the way (especially after performing along the parade route), so please consider making a donation. Thank you! E-mail Mary at pacifictraditions@gmail.com or call 385-4770 for more information.

Thank You Health Harmony Vistas!

Health Harmony Vistas offers many aspects of healing and awakening - with times as erratic and shifty as they are now, many of us are being called on to seek and use more spiritual paths. There's a need for us to connect and expand the light energy. There are many paths and healing techniques - we are all different so have diverse journeys here on Earth.

Thank you for putting your state B&O tax dollars to work here in our community and simultaneously benefiting your business. We appreciate it very much!
