February Events -- Uptown/Downtown, its our town!

Feb. 14, Valentine's Day -- did you pick up flowers and chocolate for your sweetie? Or perhaps treat yourself!

Feb. 14, Fall In Love with your Library:
Open House Event. Enjoy live music, Valentine crafts, and light refreshments from 3-6 pm, 1220 Lawrence St. in Uptown.

Feb. 15
Siren's Brewer's Dinner Series continues with Aslan Brewing from Bellingham. A new brewery with some great beers and USDA certified Organic to boot! Fun evenings filled with good beer, good food, and good people. Includes meal, beer, souvenir glass, and a good time. Call to get your reservation in 360-379-1100.

Feb. 17
Concerts at the Key: The Eagle Mountain String Band at Key City Public Theatre. 
Feb. 17, Jefferson Clemente Course and Cellar Door present a Fundraiser Celebration to benefit Clemente Course Programming. Hors d'oeuvres, live music, readings, friends and fabulous door prizes. Suggested Donation: $10.

Feb. 18, The Boiler Room's Night of Heroes Auction. Be a hero* and help The Boiler Room build community! Silent auction and photo booth fun, followed by dinner and a famed fabulous live auction. 100% of proceeds to benefit programming at The Boiler Room. 

Feb. 18-20, Olympic Peninsula Red Wine and Chocolate Tour
. The Olympic Peninsula Wineries will take that perfect pairing to another level in 2017, bringing together new release varietals and blends created with premium Washington grapes and decadent chocolate delights that will make you a better wine lover! 

Feb. 19, Port Townsend Kiwanis Club Stars of Tomorrow Show, an opportunity for the youth in our community to showcase their talents in the areas of music, movement, and dance. 

Feb. 19 & 20, Key City Public Theatre Dinner Theater featuring Love AllWays by Renee Taylor & Joseph Bologna. A comedic evening of short plays all about the follies and foibles of love and lovers at Alchemy Bistro & Wine Bar. Ticket includes performance and four-course dinner.

Feb. 21, Improv at the Key
is Key City Pubic Theatre's new monthly initiative, providing free form comedy and spontaneous entertainment every 3rd Tuesday at the KCPT Playhouse.

Feb. 23, Northwest Maritime Center Speaker Series featuring author Jonathan White who will discuss his book Tides: The Science and Spirit of the Ocean.

Feb. 25, Port Townsend Film Festival "The Night Before Oscars" Gala. Enjoy live jazz, a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dinner, wines, and a dessert auction. Hosting the evening are NPR radio personality Luke Burbank, comedian John Ellis and PTFF executive director Janette Force.

Shipwrights' Regatta, the opening of the sailboat racing season!

The Port Townsend Main Street Spring HUD Loan applications are due March 31, 2017 at 5 pm. These funds can help property owners accomplish historic preservation goals and safety improvements in their buildings and is available to commercial buildings in Port Townsend’s Downtown and Uptown Commercial Historic Districts. With these funds, building owners have painted the exterior of their buildings, repaired roofs, fixed staircases, re-pointed brick facades, installed windows and improved the safety of their buildings. Putting Your State B&O Taxes To Work Here In Port Townsend Through the 2017 Main Street Tax Incentive Program. 75% of your donation is returned to you via B&O tax credits in 2018. In addition, your entire contribution may qualify as a 501(c)(3) charitable deduction on your 2017 federal income tax return.
