MAY 2016

INTRODUCING LIBRARY PALS

SMPL is excited to announce its partnership with the Santa Monica Animal Shelter. The Library PALS program, for "Pets & Animal Lovers,"  is one of the Library's Strategic Plan Initiatives. Each month,we will feature one adorable, adoptable critter with a photo, bio and reading list. We are thrilled that our first two pets, "Sugar" Caine (pictured above) and Sootsie, quickly found homes.

In honor of National Pet Week, Library PALS is hosting a pet supply drive in May to benefit the Santa Monica Animal Shelter.  Donation bins will be available at all Library locations. Please see the Animal Shelter's wish list of needed items. Thank you for helping keep the animals happy and healthy.
