JANUARY 2016

Welcome to the inaugural edition of Santa Monica Public Library’s e-Newsletter!

The e-Newsletter highlights a few of the many programs offered by the Main and Branch libraries each month. Click on the links above to see the full array of programs offered for babies through adults in our monthly program calendar.

We strive to remain a valuable resource for our patrons as we implement a new Strategic Plan based on community input and the City of Santa Monica's priorities. More to come!

CELEBRATE OUR 125th (WITH CAKE!)

In January, we wrap up our celebration of the library’s 125th Anniversary and also mark the 10th Anniversary of the Main Library. We’ll have a day-long celebration at Main Library on January 9, and a host of other events at Branches later in the month. Join us for a tour, family activities, author Robert Crais and more! At 2:30 pm, enjoy a celebratory piece of cake, as we tally the results of the interactive game, showcase the winners of our Design a Library Card contest, and get ready for the day’s closing author talk.
