Student Attendance Will Affect Prom This Year!

Attendance is important! Missing just a few days of school could have a serious impact on your child's grades and even lower their chances of graduating. Because the data is so clear linking good attendance with academic success, Frederick HS is kicking off an Attendance Initiative to stress the importance of being in class.

As an incentive, ONLY STUDENTS WHO HAVE GOOD ATTENDANCE can attend Prom this year. Students who have more than 3 UNEXCUSED ABSENT DAYS from now until Prom, which is on April 8th, will be denied entrance. To be clear, students may have no more than 12 class blocks of unexcused absences before Prom. This will pertain to all upperclassmen and even underclassmen who might be invited to the dance.

Please help us build the habit of good attendance with our students!
Notes from the Counseling Office:

Spring Break Give Back
